Tokyo Olympic 2020!🔥 Men's Hockey Team made a new history after 49 Years!💪 August 3 schedule for Indians!✌️

    All eyes will be on the Indian men's hockey team, which faces Belgium in a semi-final match on Tuesday for a chance to end their Olympic medal drought.

    At the Tokyo Olympics, the Manpreet Singh-led team has been in outstanding form, reaching the semi-finals for the first time since 1972.

    Dilpreet Singh, Gurjant Singh, and Hardik Singh scored goals to help India overcome Great Britain 3-1 in the quarter-final.

    The squad will face world champions Belgium in the semi-finals, who topped their group and are undefeated at Tokyo 2020.

    The winner of the game between India and Belgium will get a medal.

    On Tuesday, India's Olympic wrestling campaign begins. Sonam Malik, a 19-year-old Indian freestyle wrestler, will compete on August 3. Bolortuya Khurelkhuu of Mongolia, a silver medalist at the Asian Championships, will be her first opponent in Tokyo.

     In addition, two Indians will compete in track and field events. In the women's javelin throw qualifiers, Annu Rani will compete, while Tajinderpal Singh Toor will compete in the men's shot put qualifiers.

       Annu Rani, the women's national javelin throw record holder, with a personal best and season best throw of 63.24 metres. Sara Kolak, the Olympic gold medalist in 68.43m, will be her opponent.

      Tajinderpal Singh Toor, a shot putter, is also participating in a group that includes the 2012 Olympic silver and bronze medalists.



India's Olympic programme for tomorrow is as follows: Tuesday, August 3 at Tokyo 2020.

Qualification for the women's javelin throw: Group A – Annu Rani – 5:50 AM IST.

Tajinderpal Singh Toor qualifies for the men's shot put at 3:45 IST.

Hockey:

India vs. Belgium in the men's semi-final – 7:00 a.m. IST.

Wrestling:

Sonam Malik vs Bolortuya Khurelkhuu in the round of 16 of the women's freestyle 62kg - TBD
