9.The spiderwick chronicles(2008)
"The Spiderwick Chronicles" is a fantastic family film, with the exception of children under the age of ten, who are likely to be terrified out of their minds. What is the person's age? I'm not sure; they're your kids.
But I do know that the PG rating is ridiculous, especially considering what occurs after a father declares his love for his son. Without a doubt, this is a PG-13 film. What will give younger children nightmares will delight older children, as "The Spiderwick Chronicles" is a well-crafted family thriller that is really terrifying and doesn't hold back.
8.Jumanji (1995)
With advertisements showing Robin Williams with a smile in his eye, "Jumanji" is being touted as a pleasant Christmas season entertainment. Younger youngsters are prone to escape the theatre or hide in their parents' arms. Those who do go through it all the way through are likely to have nightmares based on the disturbing imagery.Whoever believed this was a family film (the MPAA gave it a PG rating, not even a PG-13!) must think kids are tough. The film is a bleak special-effects spectacle loaded with horrific visuals that instil terror and sorrow in the audience.

The Wizard of Oz is a famous fable about a little girl named Dorothy who gets whisked into the mythical land of Oz by a tornado. She's informed that in order to return to Kansas, she must travel down the yellow brick road and seek assistance from the Wizard.
There is music in this narrative, as well as highly memorable and distinct characters. Even though Disney does not now hold the rights to this film, it is likely that they will in the near future, especially because they have previously battled for them. Disney even produced their own adaptation of the storey, dubbed Oz The Great and Powerful.

2. Lord of the rings: the fellowship of the ring (2001)
The Lord of the Rings is a film series about a young boy named Frodo who joins a fellowship tasked with destroying a magical ring sought by an evil monster known as Sauron.
The film is one of the most popular fantasy films of all time, and it features many familiar Disney characters like as wizards, elves, and dwarves. The Lord of the Rings is based on JRR Tolkien's best-selling book trilogy, in which he established Middle Earth and invented Hobbits. Because of the franchise's size, there will be prequel films dubbed The Hobbit, as well as an Amazon series set before the films.
1.The mummy (1995)
The Mummy tells the storey of a party of archaeologists, led by Rick O'Connell, who unintentionally awaken a violent mummy in the fictitious Egyptian city of Hamunaptra.
This film series is evocative of Disney's darker action-adventure flicks, such as Pirates of the Caribbean. There are three films in the core trilogy, similar to Pirates, and it has also been rebooted. There's a lot of magic in this film, as well as some dark, scary monsters.
